What You Will Do:
- Standardize and enhance operational processes and procedures, and automate the deployments
- Ensuring that all systems comply with security patching and vulnerability recommendations, and that sufficient automation tools exist to ease administration overhead
- Specify and develop solutions via automation
- Provide work breakdown and estimates for complex tasks
- Respond to support requests via tickets and collaboration tools within response time SLAs
- Deploy, monitor, and administer Cloud applications and the underlying services for Cloud
- Ensure all servers have required security compliance for patch management, anti-virus, and other threat protection
- Optimize the performance of our systems through team collaboration of hardware and software configurations
- Dive deep to resolve problems at their root, looking for failure patterns amenable to long-term solutions
- Troubleshoot performance degradation or loss of service as time critical incidents
- Ownership of issues, including collaboration with other teams and escalations
- Responsible for ensuring availability and performance of the databases/servers that support the system
- To ensure high availability and optimum performance
- To proactively monitor the systems to ensure secure services with minimum downtime
- Responsible for implementation and release of changes
- And other duties as assigned.
What to Bring:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud computing platforms and services.
- Proficiency in programming languages and scripting tools.
- Assessing the potential financial effects of technological decisions
- Ensuring infrastructure landscape is audit ready , secure & compliant
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, such as continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).Knowledge of networking concepts, such as IP addressing,
, and load balancing. * Understanding of data storage and database technologies
- Mentoring the team & new comers
- 8+ years of experience in all aspects of cloud computing (infrastructure, storage, platforms and data) with a proven track-record implementing in large scale environments
- Deep expertise in cloud architecture and transformation strategy product architecture
- Knowledge of infrastructure design & server infrastructure implementation
- Ability to write technical documentation ( platform architecture, strategy, engineering )
- Must be a self-starter, capable of working independently and within a team
- Ability to work on multiple concurrent complex projects and to coordinate the work of others in the cloud environment
- Experience of working in a team that delivers a high availability service
- Knowledge of configuration & integration of tools like LGTM stack, Datadog, PagerDuty
- Working in shifts 24×7 and on-call
- Process compliance as per SOC2 compliance requirements
- Training and Certifications
- Oracle certifications
- AWS Solutions Architect/ SysOps Administrator/ Advanced Networking/ Security
- Understanding of ITIL
