Manager-Business Development-US Region

Job Description

Zycus is seeking a Manager in Business Development to oversee the inside sales and business development team supporting the US market. The Business Development Manager will collaborate closely with the Director and Sales Head to achieve sales revenue targets for the US market. Candidates should have experience in Business Development, prospecting, and lead generation in an Enterprise SAAS Product Company.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Director and Sales Head to support sales revenue targets for the US market.
  • – Define, manage, and drive BD and Sales Metrics.
  • – Assess BD training needs, mentor, and coach the team.
  • – Create effective messaging and positioning strategies to differentiate from major competitors.
  • – Ensure the team is certified and has updated knowledge of new modules and products.
  • – Track and report key performance indicators of the team on a weekly, monthly, quarterly basis.
  • – Drive high-level demos and accounts through different sales stages.
  • – Drive opportunities through partner channels.
  • – Collaborate with the marketing team periodically and design marketing campaigns as per territory requirements.
  • – Generate cross-sell opportunities.
  • – Recruit BDRs (Campus and Lateral).
  • – Liaise with CRM teams and external Data Vendors for Data Leadership.
  • – Drive Sales conversion Ratios.
  • – Devise innovative strategies such as Gamification, Automation, and Training.
  • – Drive registrations in roadshows, customer events, etc.

Job Requirements:

  • At least 6 years of total experience and at least 3 years of experience leading a SAAS BD/Inside Sales Team.
  • – Engineering/MBA (Marketing) background preferred.
  • – Experience in handling BD/Sales in the US Market/International Market.
  • – Team management skills with the ability to manage teams of 4+.
  • – Ability to motivate, mobilize, and scale up the team.
  • – Good collaboration skills, abreast with market trends and events in the allocated territory/territories.
  • – Excellent communication skills and good interviewing skills.
  • – Ability to think out of the box and keep the team future-ready.
