Job Description:
Salesforce is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Analytics Cloud Organization. The CRM Analytics product is a key offering that provides integrated analytics and AI experiences within Salesforce’s CRM workflow. As an Engineering Manager, you will play a crucial role in developing revolutionary analytic capabilities that will define Salesforce’s next-generation analytics platform on the Data Cloud. This position requires a proactive leader who can build efficient processes, tools, and structures to deliver high-quality analytics products and services.
Responsibilities:
- Lead multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, reliable, and performant analytics products and services.
- – Build a high-performance engineering team and drive innovation.
- – Collaborate with cross-functional teams, architects, product owners, and engineers to execute and deliver features.
- – Recruit, retain, and inspire top talent to substantially grow the organization.
- – Mentor team members and enhance frameworks, automation, and tools to improve productivity and product quality.
- – Identify new opportunities, frame roadmaps, and execute plans to deliver product features in short iterations.
- – Foster professional growth and development of engineers and promote effective cross-functional collaboration.
- – Manage scrum processes for engineering teams and promote agile methodologies.
- – Partner with product leaders, architects, and teams to create a long-term vision and roadmap.
- – Track and improve quality progress and collaborate with development teams to enhance product quality.
- – Drive technical and operational excellence.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- – 10+ years of engineering experience, with at least 3+ years of experience in managing software teams.
- – Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- – Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive projects.
- – Ability to work with teams in multiple geographical locations and time zones.
- – Experience in hiring, mentoring, and leading engineers.
- – Experience with Agile development methodologies, including Scrum Master experience.
- – Strong technical knowledge and ability to make key design and architecture decisions.
- – Ability to consider business lens and tradeoffs for engineering problems.
- – Familiarity with tech stack: Java, JavaScript, ReactJS, SQL and NoSQL databases, Middleware (MQ, Kafka).
- – Prior management experience across the stack (frontend, backend, and full-stack) is a plus.
