Job Description:
As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for supporting the development and maintenance of our web applications. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or someone with some hands-on experience in backend development and handling websites.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and maintain backend systems for web applications.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
Assist in the integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
Develop and maintain APIs for various functionalities of the web applications.
Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Basic understanding of web development principles and experience in handling websites.
Proficiency in at least one backend programming language such as Python, Java, Node.js, or PHP.
Familiarity with database technologies like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
Basic knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git.
Strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
