Job Description: We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Text Annotation Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the development of AI and machine learning models by accurately annotating and labeling text data. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, an understanding of linguistic structures, and the ability to work with complex datasets.
Responsibilities:
Accurately annotate and label text data according to predefined guidelines.
Review and validate annotations done by other team members to ensure quality and consistency.
Work closely with data scientists and engineers to understand annotation requirements and provide feedback on tools and processes.
Participate in the development and refinement of annotation guidelines.
Manage and organize large datasets for various machine learning projects.
Report on progress and any issues encountered during the annotation process.
Assist in the development and testing of annotation tools and interfaces.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Linguistics, Psychology, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related discipline).
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with qualitative and quantitative analysis.
Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts is a plus.
