Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain data warehouse solutions to support business intelligence and analytics needs.
Integrate and manage data from various sources to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Develop and implement data models, schemas, and ETL processes.
Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improving merchandising strategies.
Collaborate with merchandising teams to plan and execute effective product placement and inventory management strategies.
Utilize data to forecast demand, optimize inventory levels, and reduce out-of-stock scenarios.
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales, inventory, and merchandising.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform merchandising decisions.
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of data warehouse solutions with other business systems.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field.
Proven experience in data warehousing, ETL processes, and database management.
Proficiency in SQL and experience with data warehouse tools (e.g., Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, Snowflake).
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights.
Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and data visualization techniques.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the retail or e-commerce industry.
Knowledge of merchandising principles and practices.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and their data services.
Experience with programming languages such as Python or R.
