Responsibilities: · Designing, implementing, and maintaining Java-based backend services and applications. · Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. · Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards. · Troubleshooting and debugging production issues across multiple environments. · Optimizing application performance and scalability. · Conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback to peers. · Mentoring junior developers and helping them grow their skills. · Keeping up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices. · Participating in the software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, and deployment. · Working closely with frontend developers to integrate frontend components with backend services. Skills: · Expertise in Java programming language and its ecosystem. · Proficiency in backend development frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, or Hibernate. · Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns. · Experience with RESTful web services and API design. · Knowledge of database systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle. · Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. · Experience with version control systems such as Git. · Understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. · Ability to write efficient SQL queries and optimize database performance. · Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
