Job Description:
The Software Support Specialist will be responsible for providing exceptional IT support, particularly in WMS. The role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to raise and track tickets with WMS vendors, and the capability to independently handle shift
support and resolve production issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-level technical support for Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and related software.
Effectively communicate with WMS vendors to raise and track tickets, and collaborate with them to resolve production issues.
Independently manage shift support, ensuring efficient and timely problem resolution.
Diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware problems.
Offer proactive solutions and improvements based on issue trends and analysis.
Maintain detailed documentation of all interactions and steps taken for problem resolution.
Work autonomously and as part of a team, demonstrating creative problem-solving skills.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field..
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and independent, creative thinking.
Ability to work independently in a shift support role. Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software.
