QA Specialist and Software Tester

Allient, a company dedicated to innovation and the development of technological products, is on the lookout for a passionate QA Specialist and Software Tester. This position emphasizes quality assurance in software development, making it a crucial role in the organization. The job is entirely remote, allowing candidates to work from anywhere in the United States. Responsibilities: Designing, planning, and executing manual tests to verify software quality. Identifying, documenting, and reporting bugs through tools such as JIRA. Closely collaborating with the development team to ensure proper functionality of software features. Developing and implementing automation testing strategies. Estimating, planning, analyzing, and executing comprehensive test plans. Improving and implementing standards of software quality control in the products developed by Allient. Required Skills: Familiarity with tools for executing and tracking tests and knowledge of software quality standards. Experience in identifying and designing rigorous test cases. Ability to write significant defect reports targeted at differing audiences. Intermediate English language skills. Proficiency with GitHub and excellent communication and teamwork skills. Critical, creative, and innovative thinking abilities, alongside a quick learning aptitude and adaptability. Openness to feedback, proactive problem-solving, and a solutions-oriented mindset. Preferred Qualifications: Experience as a QA Analyst and in Software Testing. Familiarity with software development in languages such as Python, TypeScript, and Kotlin. Experience with CI/CD, especially with GitHub Actions pipelines. Knowledge of testing frameworks such as React, React Native, FastAPI, and Android App Development.
