Job Description:
As a Python Backend Developer at HBF, you will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and maintenance of our backend systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable, high-performance applications that meet our clients’ needs.
Responsibilities:
· Design, develop, and maintain Python-based backend services and APIs.
· Implement data models and database schema designs for optimal performance and scalability.
· Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
· Optimize application performance through code refactoring, performance tuning, and caching mechanisms.
· Implement security best practices to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of data.
· Write unit tests and participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and reliability.
· Troubleshoot and debug issues in production environments.
· Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in backend development.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
· 1.5+ years of professional experience in Python backend development.
· Proficiency in Python and related frameworks/libraries such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
· Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
· Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORM frameworks.
· Familiarity with RESTful API design principles and microservices architecture.
· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
· Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
· Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is desirable.
