Position Overview:
As a Student Counselor, you will be responsible for providing guidance, support, and assistance to students in various aspects of their academic and personal lives. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about education, possess strong interpersonal skills, and are dedicated to helping students succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

Student Support and Guidance:
Provide one-on-one counseling sessions to students to address academic concerns, personal challenges, and career aspirations.
Offer guidance and support to help students develop effective study skills, time management techniques, and academic strategies.
Assist students in setting academic goals and creating action plans to achieve them.
Academic Advising:
Help students navigate course selection, program requirements, and academic policies and procedures.
Collaborate with academic advisors and faculty members to ensure students receive accurate and timely information about academic programs and opportunities.
Monitor students’ academic progress and intervene when necessary to provide additional support or resources.
Career Counseling:
Assist students in exploring career options, identifying their interests and strengths, and setting career goals.
Provide information and resources related to internships, job opportunities, and graduate school applications.
Offer guidance on resume writing, interview preparation, and professional networking.
Crisis Intervention and Support:
Respond to students in crisis situations, such as emotional distress, academic struggles, or personal emergencies.
Provide immediate support and referrals to appropriate resources, such as counseling services, health services, or community organizations.
Follow up with students to ensure they receive ongoing support and assistance as needed.
Program Promotion and Outreach:
Collaborate with marketing and outreach teams to promote counseling services and programs to students.
Organize workshops, seminars, and informational sessions on topics relevant to student success and well-being.
Develop and maintain relationships with student organizations, faculty members, and campus partners to enhance outreach efforts.

Qualifications and Skills:

Master’s Bachelor’s degree in BBA or related field (preferred).
No prior experience required; fresh graduates or individuals with internship experience in student counseling are encouraged to apply.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with students from diverse backgrounds.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others.
Knowledge of counseling theories, techniques, and ethical guidelines.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher, Internship
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: ₹10,000.00 – ₹20,000.00 per month
