We are looking for a skilled HTML and WordPress Developer who will be responsible for the development and maintenance of websites built on the WordPress platform. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP, along with significant experience in WordPress theme and plugin usage. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with designers and other team members to bring concepts to life.
Modify and enhance existing WordPress themes and plugins to improve functionality and user experience.
Write clean, well-structured, and efficient HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP code if needed.
Ensure websites are responsive and optimized for performance across various devices and browsers.
Collaborate with designers to implement pixel-perfect designs and ensure consistency throughout the development process.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and fix any issues or bugs.
Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends, technologies, and best practices.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for clients as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience working as a WordPress Developer or similar role.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
Strong understanding of WordPress architecture, APIs, and best practices.
Experience with responsive design techniques and frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap).
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
