Senior Product Manager

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join the Loop team to lead the product roadmap for the platform, integrations and experiences that drive collaboration at scale. If you are passionate about solving complex issues when you design for scalability, then this job is for you.

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong technical background and analytical skills, with the ability to work directly with both customer and engineering teams across the company. You should be able to formulate a vision and strategic plan whilst creating clarity in requirements, demonstrating customer-obsession with a growth mindset. You should be comfortable talking about technical components, understand development cycles but at the same time hold onto the business need and impact. Excellent collaboration, communication and coordination skills are necessary for this role. Understanding of platforms, web services, 3rd party integrations, and build systems is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • You will drive business impact across the organization and track success criteria for multiple feature areas. You’ll also identify long-term investment opportunities and engage partners to garner support for those feature areas.
  • You will help define a feature set and facilitate mid-level usability reviews with customers. You’ll own the roadmap for multiple feature areas and will collaborate with a partner team to build golden configurations and drive scenario walkthroughs.
  • You will scale Product Marketing teams by helping build marketing, roll-out, and customer support plans. You’ll also promote the feature areas you worked on and present at large events.
  • You will partner with others to collect performance metrics and form hypotheses for complex technical needs in order to improve product development in targeted areas. You’ll also identify features to deprecate, manage customer communities, and build trust with targeted customers.

Bring your technical aptitude, eagerness to solve difficult problems and ability to build the product roadmap to:

  • Have a hands-on approach to writing developer specs and perform design reviews.
  • Create clarity in requirements, embrace agility, fend off scope creep, confirm development approaches and timelines, and support the team to build and deliver high quality and secure solutions on time.
  • Promote hypothesis-driven product development and data-driven decision making.
  • Define and analyze metrics to assess the success of products and communicate with all stakeholders.
  • Engage directly with internal customers and partners to integrate feedback and extrapolate customer benefit for improved product plans.
  • Be comfortable creating compelling narratives and telling the Office for the web transformation story.
  • Be a mentor to other Program Managers in our team.

Qualifications:

Qualifications

  • 5+ years working as a technical program/product manager with engineering teams and a demonstrated experience in service release and technical feature design.
  • Proven ability to drive large scale projects with high collaboration and leadership.
  • Detail oriented and able to rapidly come up to speed on complex technologies and architectures.
  • Excellent cross-group collaboration skills and demonstrated ability to lead virtual teams to deliver on product milestones.
  • Self-motivated and self-directed.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred
